A Chinese couple tried to name their baby "@," claiming the character used in e-mail addresses echoed their love for the child, reports Reuters.
It's the kind of thing we all joked about a few years ago but never did, so hats off to the daring duo. It makes me wonder: what other symbols would be cool names for kids?
& - Ampersand - Amp for short. That's quite funky.
* - Star - not bad. Bit hippy.
( - Open parentheses - not exactly snappy.
Any others you think might be good for 21st Century children?
