A little ancient history

Did you know that the word dildo comes from a Latin word meaning to open wide? Quite an eye-opener! Centuries ago, when sex was not quite the taboo it is today, dildos were revered by some. The ancient Greeks, Chinese, Arabs and Polynesians (to name but a few) all went for dildos in a big way, made of different materials ranging from wood to bread(!). They are represented throughout history in erotic painting, and were often quite beautifully designed.
